Julyana Free Zone Celebrates Strategic Partnership with Kaleris and ISFP for Smart Port Transformation
Benghazi – November 2025- Julyana Free Zone, the maritime and logistics hub at the Port of Benghazi, has announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Kaleris and ISFP to implement the advanced N4 Terminal Operating System (TOS) — a major step toward enhancing digital transformation and boosting terminal efficiency.
The agreement was signed during the Kaleris EMEA Customer Summit held in Dubai on October 28, 2025, in the presence of Captain Ahmed Al-Amami, General Manager of Julyana Free Zone, Eng. Hala El Sheridy, CEO of ISFP, and Mr. Kirk Knauff, CEO of Kaleris.
Captain Al-Amami emphasized that embracing digital transformation is key to elevating the port’s performance and achieving world-class operational standards. He noted that the implementation of N4 will bring a major leap forward in the speed and efficiency of container handling operations.
ISFP, an Egyptian company specializing in transport automation and system integration, will lead the implementation, training, and full operational rollout of the new system, which is expected to go live in March 2026.
According to Mr. Kirk Knauff, CEO of Kaleris, this partnership represents a model of collaboration to build smarter and more sustainable ports across North Africa.
The N4 system will empower Julyana Free Zone with advanced operational capabilities, including faster vessel turnaround, optimized equipment utilization, and real-time container tracking — reinforcing the port’s position as a key regional hub for trade and logistics.
