A number of common services introduced within a single platform “IBUS” saving each integrated client time and cost for developmening these services at his side.
|
They provide the most common needed feature within any integration process addressing the complex nature of the port’s business environment.
Validation
In coming message is validated based on message dictionaries (schemas) that have been defined for each message structure. It can guarantee the validity of data incoming to and outgoing from the IBUS. The options provide you with some degree of control over the validation performed to:
-
Maintain a balance between performance and security requirements.
-
Validate at different stages of message flow execution, such as on input of a message and before a message is output, or at any point in-between.
An administrator could specify the action to be taken incase of message validation failure.
Message Manipulation
ISFP Integration Platform allows you to work with the content of the message through its journey in the business processing path(s) providing the following manipulation activities as per business needs.
-
Re-structure message contents
-
Edite the message contents
-
Introduce specific static data into the message
-
Store a copy of the message or even part of it in the database for offline processing.
-
Interact with a database to modify the content of the message or the database content and pass on one or more new messages.
Message Transformation
ISFP Integration platform allows message transformation in different ways:
-
Change order of fields according to some specified rules.
-
Aggregate messages from different sources and send the result to one or more destinations.
-
Support format transformation between XML and EDI, which enhances integration between parties who support different message formates.
Code Mapping
According to the heterogeneous nature of the port community; business parties may disagree on certain codes “master data” (format – length - type) that represents a single entity (HS codes – measurement units – measurement type ….etc); therefore there must be a convenient way to map sender codes to that of destination(s).
ISFP Integration platform provide a real-time code mapping mediation service that allows those parties with different code to integrate in more easier and faster manner.
By exporting codes out of client systems then importing them to the Integration Platform’s code conversion repository, and by mapping each non standard code “not UN code” to the corresponding standard one – predefined and deployed within the platform - the code conversion mediation service will then handle the conversion of the sender code to that of the receiver at the runtime and vise versa as long as any of them “sender and receiver” uses non standard codes.
Multi-destination Routing:
Routing mediation service is enhanced in ISFP Integration Platform by providing multi-destination routing feature to all message types supported by the platform, based on the business logic of certain transacted message “business work flow” the platform is capable of delivering a single message to all specified destinations in the right format at the right time.
