SPS Warehouse

SPS Warehousing is an on-line module that controls, plans, tracks cargo storage, movements between yards or warehouses.

Yard Planning

The module provides the storage company the facility to plan the storage of the incoming cargo in its yards prior to the vessel arrival. It also determines the neglected cargo for either repositioning or disposal. The planning module takes into consideration the compatibility of the cargo to the planned yard commodity.

Delivery Types

The shipping agent determines the way in which the cargo will be delivered; whether it be through Direct Handling or Storage in yards. Direct Handling requests are then reviewed by the port Authority reviews to accepts or deny while the storage companies reviews its related requests.

Consolidated B/Ls

The system covers the feature of dividing the consolidated bill of ladings into separate ones according to the actual consignees for each Cargo in the import manifest.

Cargo Transactions Module

The module registers Cargo entrance/exit to the Yards/Stores according to planned movements. This information can be entered through web forms or through wireless radio data terminals (RDTs). The system also allows the User to register the Direct loading and discharging operations. The system provides query tools that locates the cargo location of a certain agent / voyage / manifest/ B/L / cargo item in a B/L.

Storage Services

Storage services provided to the cargo are registered with the complete information of the service (start date/time, end date/time ,…) to be the base for the calculation of its bill .

Manifest Web Interface

The Module provides a web interface for the shipping agents to introduce cargo information of the incoming vessel manifest or to be introduced via integration of the EDI message.

Customs Information

The system facilitates the integration with the customs information by binding the bill of lading information to the customs declarations. The system also captures the inspection information; including determined time and inspection results, as well as the customs clearance information in order to control the cargo release.
