Designed to automate all different operations needed to control and trace movements of trucks inside the port, the Gates Module is an efficient and much needed monitoring tool. Entry Control Entry control module prevents trucks from entering the port unless all its related cargo procedures have been completed. Routing Ticket The system issues a printed routing ticket identifying the cargo location thus facilitating traffic inside the port and preventing traffic jams. Gate Holds The gate holds are defined through a dynamic module to suit each port rules & regulations. The truck is released only if its cargo procedural and financial holds are executed. Weigh Bridges The module integrates the truck weight data into the system & calculates the excess weight and issuing its bill. Cashier System As the truck entrance & exit time are recorded, the elapsed time is calculated for truck staying in port area and issuing a bill. Truck Booking Used to capture all trucks, drivers, and cargo data before trucks arrival at gates, the Truck Booking technique speeds up the entrance procedure & prevents bottlenecks that might appear in gates lanes. Exit Control Module Checks the cargo related holds thus preventing the truck from exiting the port if any financial or procedural hold has not been released. Wireless Gate Control Are used in wireless gate control modules to facilitate the following procedures: Checking reservation, registering weights, registering truck exits. Truck Status The system also provides a tool to inquire about all trucks inside the port area, trucks that entered or left the port through a time interval, trucks related to a certain transportation company and trucks that handled cargo of a certain visit. Integration SPS provides a facility to be integrated to other applications (e.g. customs application) or to any related truck identification technology (OCR, RFID). |
