The Billing Engine adds another essential component to the SPS Package, aimed at automating the different types of invoices dealt with in a port/ terminal, the Billing Engine covers a variety of business needs from Vessel Operation Services.

| Types of invoices
The Billing Engine automates all types of port invoices. For example, for a Port Authority, the Vessel Invoice handles Vessel Operation Services and Cargo Operation Services are handled through different invoices, such as the Agency Invoice, the Stevedoring Invoice, the Direct Handling Invoice, the Storage Invoice and the Land Renters Invoice as well as the Storage License and Warehousing Invoice.
As for Container Terminals, again services are handled through a number of different invoices, such as the LCL Containers Invoice, the Load & Discharge Invoice, the Out Of Circle Invoice, the Shift Containers Invoice and the Storage Invoice.
The Billing Engine allows the addition of more types of invoices, as well as the modification of pre-defined invoices according to business needs.
Cut Outs
Taxes and Discounts may be calculated and added to the total amount of the invoice or to specific lines in the invoice
