IMC The Industrial Modernization Center (IMC) supports numerous programs which aim to study and accordingly develop the industrial process in Egypt, bringing it up to worldwide standards. IMC's mission is to provide business development support to Egyptian industrial enterprises to reinstate them competitively in Egypt s global markets in the bid to enhance job creation and secure prosperity for all. Out of more than 26,800 registered enterprises in the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI), totaling 2.6 million employees in the industrial sector, IMCs mandate focuses on companies employing more than 10 workers or industrial clusters. IMC, therefore, aims at addressing the needs of about 12,400 enterprises. This unique positioning of a vital sector of the economy provides for the concentration of resources, generation of impact, complementary and coordination with programs contributing to sustainable economic development.
